No joy rides for aviation ministry, PM office doesn't give a nod

The Prime Minister's office has not given a nod to ministers and bureaucrats of the civil aviation ministry for a trip in the inaugural direct Air India flight to Moscow.

The DNA reports that the ministry had written to the PMO seeking clearance for the trip but none was given; the launch happened on Monday, .

The chairman of Air India and DGCA director were allowed to fly.
