No apology yet, Salman however says he should talk less

Written by : TNM Staff

Pushed into a corner over his rape remark, Salman Khan on Friday jokingly said that he should speak less these days as whatever he says gets misinterpreted although he is yet to apologise.

“I will not take much time because nowadays the less I speak the better it is,” said Salman in Madrid while addressing the inauguration of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards.

The actor stirred a controversy recently when he said he felt like a ‘raped woman’ after the grueling shoot for his forthcoming film Sultan.

The remark drew criticism from many quarters, especially from trolls on social media.

The National Commission for Women has even threatened to issue summons if he doesn’t apologise for his remark.

The IIFA will mark its 17th edition this year, which is being hosted by Madrid.
