The NEET UG exams were held on May 5 and May 20 this year. While May 5 was the original date for which the exam was slotted, due to Cyclone Fani, students in affected areas such as Odisha, had been given a rescheduled date. A group of students from Karnataka who had missed the exam due to a train delay were also allocated the second date to appear for the exam. Over 15,00,000 students registered for the exam this year, which is an impressive 14.4 percent increase in the number of students who had registered for the NEET UG exam in 2018.
Results are expected to be out by the first week of June.
