The National Investigation Agency (NIA) it seems has concluded that one of the reasons for the 2007 murder of RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi was the alleged ‘sexual advances’ he made towards Sadhvi Pragya Thakur Singh, an accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case. An Indian Express report says that ‘NIA believes Pragya was wary of Joshi and thought he would spill the beans on the terror plots.’
The Express report says that the NIA is all set to file chargesheet against the four main accused in the case and Sadhi Pragya.
Though there have been concerted campaigns by some in the right wing to let an ailing Sadhvi Pragya out on bail, it has been rejected by courts. Reports emerged last week that the Home Ministry gave NIA permission to file chargesheet in the Malegaon case
