Modi says BJP is Lord Shiva’s third eye destined to wipe Kerala's politics clean

PM Modi began his Kerala visit on Tuesday by applauding BJP’s rise in Kerala as a strong third force in the hitherto bipolar politics in the southern state.

Addressing a huge gathering of supporters at the Thekkinkadu Maidan in Thrissur district on Tuesday, Modi waxed eloquent on the good show by the BJP in the recent local body polls in Kerala.

While lauding Sree Narayana Guru’s contribution as a social reformer, Modi took a swipe at the Left front and the United Democratic front for propagating ‘political untouchability’ in the state.

The PM also paid tribute to the 200-odd BJP workers who were reportedly killed by political rivals, terming their sacrifice as one made for Mother India.

He reiterated that no other political party might have faced the kind of atrocities that BJP had to face in Kerala.

It was now time, he said, for BJP to reap the benefits of all the sacrifices they made for the state in the past 50 years.

Modi then referred to BJP as Lord Shiva’s third eye out to destroy the evil forces of the LDF and the UDF and free Kerala from the ills of corruption.
