Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman delivered her third Union Budget on Monday which she had promised will be a “budget like never before,” to revive the economy as India still grapples with the pandemic. Incidentally, this is also the ninth Union Budget under the Narendra Modi government. According to experts, the Union budget will look to boost spending on infrastructure and rural development, create jobs, put more money in the hands of the average taxpayer and ease regulations to attract foreign investments.
