Brazilian footballer Neymar recently fractured his vertebrae in a quarters match against Columbia, one of the matches in the ongoing FIFA World cup tournament.

Speculations were doing rounds that the Brazilian Football Association (BFA) had asked the Kerala government to suggest ayurvedic treatments for Neymar.

However, Chief Minister Oomen Chandy told The Indian Express that it was the Kerala Football Association's (KFA) suggestion and not of BFA of giving ayurvedic treatments to the injured footballer.

The government has downloaded the details of Neymar's injury and after discussion may offer its help to BFA.
