Housing.com hacked? #RahulYadav and #HousingDown reads homepage

Written by : TNM

In what could be seen by many as a vengeful move, Housing.com seems to have been hacked. It is not clear as to who is behind the homepage now sporting #RahulYadav and #HousingDown. The message, presumably from the hackers reads, "Yes! We will solve real estate, but 10X better, with The Chief Architect", followed  by a cryptic message. The message ends with, "We have achieved a lot in the last three years, but the game has just begun. Yet, we are hungry for all! :)" Here is a screenshot.    The short-lived career of Housing.com co-founder Rahul Yadav as its CEO ended on July 1, 2015. He was sacked following a unanimous decision by the company’s board.  The 26-year-old had been at the center of many controversies of late, and had tendered his resignation earlier this year, only to withdraw it on the same day. Just yesterday, Rahul Yadav has put up the following status-update on his Facebook page  Update at 4:30pm: The website, which seems to have gone down for a few minutes, is now back and fully functional. Update at 4:42 pm: It's down again! Same message as before. Update at 5:00pm: It's back up. Meanwhile, Yadav on his Facebook page says that he had nothing to do with this. While cheekily saying that he would have designed the page better, he expressed love for his former technical team.
