He was unstable, used to beat me: Orlando shooter's ex-wife speaks out

In a shocking revelation, Orlando gunman’s ex-wife, Sitora Yusufiy spoke to the media and said that he initially wanted to be a police officer.

She described her reaction as ‘shocked’ and ‘devastated’ when she learnt about the shooting which has left 50 people dead.

“In the beginning he was a normal being that cared about family, loved to joke, loved to have fun. But a few months after we were married, I saw his instability,” recalled Sitora.

She added that he would ‘get mad out of nowhere’ and even abused her physically quite a few times.

In another interview, Sitora said that her ex-husband had even applied to the police academy and worked as a 'correctional officer'.
