Islamabad : At least four people were killed Saturday evening when a US drone launched an attack in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region of North Waziristan, media reported.

According to the reports, the attack took place at 8.10 p.m. when a US pilotless aircraft fired two missiles at a vehicle in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, Pakistan's restive tribal region bordering Afghanistan.

The vehicle was destroyed completely and all four people on board were killed on the spot, Xinhua reported.

The identities of the killed people have not been known yet, however, some reports said the dead were the members of a militant group.
