The video of American journalist James Foley’s beheading may have been staged, and the actual murder may have taken place later, forensic experts say.

According to a PTI report, there were several inconsistencies in the details of the video of the beheading, suggesting that it might have been staged.

One observation analysts made, was that there was no blood, even though an incision was made several times across his neck.

Analysts analysed the video after they were asked to by UK-based newspaper The Times. The speech Foley made lasted 1.26 minutes, but there was a blip in the visuals which suggested that he may have said the line twice. For more details, read the PTI report.
