Doctors perform open autopsy in government hospital near Bhopal

Doctors at the Gahakota Government Hospital have performed an autopsy in the open in Garhakota near Bhopal.

This is not the first time autopsies have been conducted in this manner. Autopsies have been conducted in the open for over three years in an open room of a collapsed byulding in the hospital, said Hindustan Times

Despite the National Human Rights Commission notice to the state government, the hospiat have resumed conducting open autopsies. They had initially stopped when the NHRC intervened, said the report.
