Delhi constable's response to Modi after the Swachh Bharat initiative changes security arrangements

The News Minute| October 8, 2014| 10.15 am ISTOne Delhi Police Constable’s reply has made all the difference.To a question posed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to police personnel during the launch of the Swacch Bharat campaign over why the Marg Police Station in Delhi was not kept clean , one police constable replied saying that the policemen there didn’t have time for anything other than keeping Modi’s security route clear, according to India Today. Following that reply by constable Ram Kumar, guidelines have been issued by the PMO asking the Delhi Police to only deploy the required number of people for the PM’s security, said the report. Deployment of over 500 policemen in the capital have come up for reevaluation after the police constable's curt but true reply to the PM's question over the unclean state of the police station in Delhi.
