Communist Marxist Party (CMP) leader and former Minister M.V Raghavan,81, passed away at the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital, Kannur on Sunday morning.
Ragahvan had been under treatment for Parkinson's disease
Raghavan was expelled from CPI (M) in 1985. Following this, he founded Communist Marxist party (CMP) and the party allied with the UDF.
The funeral will be at Payyambalam crematorium tomorrow. M V Raghavan's son Nikesh Kumar is a well known journalist in Kerala and heads a news channel called Reporter TV
