Amit Shah, Rajnath, Nirmala take oath: Full list of Modi's cabinet
57 ministers took oath as ministers of the next Union Cabinet at the largest ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sworn in first, and the first minister to take oath was Rajnath Singh. This was followed by BJP National President Amit Shah.
Multiple ministers from Modi’s previous cabinet were given berths, but this cabinet also has some new faces including Kishan Reddy, former foreign secretary S Jaishankar, Prahlad Joshi and Ramesh Pokhriyal. There are a total of seven women in the new cabinet.
