#ABVPExposed trends: Student union says video of activists raining pro-pak slogans fake

Written by : TNM Staff

A day after a video alleging that Akhila Bharathiya Vidhyarthi Parishad students were the ones who shouted pro-Pakistan slogans surfaced on February 11, the ABVP has claimed that the video circulated by the left-front is fake.

This comes in the wake of the arrest of the student union president Kanhaiya Kumar on Friday by the Delhi police for allegedly shouting anti-national slogans at a against the hanging of parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

The students conducted the event on February 9 despite cancellation of permission by the JNU administration.

ABVP members denied that they were shouting pro-Pakistan slogans at the programme in an attempt to implicate the others as alleged by the left-front through a video.

The video further accuses media of framing the left activists for no mistake of theirs.
