2019 National Games likely to be held in AP, says CM Naidu

The 2019 National Games are likely to be held in Andhra Pradesh, according to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Naidu indicated this while responding to a plea by Ms Deepa Venkat, daughter of Union minister M. Venkaiah Naidu and the managing trustee of Swarna Bharat Trust in Venkatachalam according to a Deccan Chronicle report.

Speaking on the 13th anniversary of the Swarna Bharat Trust , Naidu requested a collaboration between non-governmental organizations and the government in speeding up development. While discussing various campaigns planned for the state, he specified a plan to put the state on a fast-track development path.

The CM also seeked the support of industrialists to transform the state on par with other developed states and urged the public to take up tree plantation as a social responsibility.

Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu, state ministers P. Narayana and Kamineni Srinivas, Collector N. Srikant and SP Sendhil Kumar were present during the event.
