Written by : TNM

Finally, Mollywood’s young hero Nivin Pauly has opened up about the issues related to the pirated copies of his latest blockbuster "Premam".In his recent Facebook post, Pauly blames the film associations for their negligence in fighting piracy. He said what "Premam" is facing today, can happen to any other film tomorrow. He also warned the associations that if they kept quiet today, and were to raise the same issue tomorrow, no one would support them. He also said that it was necessary to put the person, who leaked the censor copy of Premam in the piracy market, behind bars.Premam’s producer Anwar Rasheed had resigned from all film associations on Wednesday alleging that the associations did not take any action to curb widespread piracy of the movie."Premam" has been the highest grossing Malayalam film of the year. Within weeks of its release, pirated versions of the film were already out in public domain and the pirated version of the movie carried the watermark "Censor Copy". Rasheed alleged that association did not respond to this issue irrespective of his frequent complaints.
