Two CPI(M) workers die in minor bomb blast

Image for representationTwo CPI(M) workers died in a minor bomb blast in Kannur district of Kerala on Saturday.The two workers Sudheesh and Shyju died, while two others sustained grievous injuries due to the blast. Reports suggest that the four were making local pipe bombs when one of the bombs was set off.Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has sought a report on the incident from the DGP of Kerala. The police have recovered the remnants of the bombs and other materials used for making them from the spot.
