Alcohol was a serious consideration too, according to a new study.Hindustan Times reported that nearly six out of 10 domestic travellers would not visit Kerala as prohibition was in Kerala. The state’s liquor policy will eventually allow for alcohol to be served only in five-star hotels.More men were unhappy with the liquor ban than women, the survey found.HT reported that travel advisory website HolidayIQ.com conducted the survey in 30 cities in 5,000 domestic travellers. While 61 percent of male respondents were unhappy with the unavailability of alcohol in Kerala, the figure was 37 percent for women. Of all cities the most upset people were from Delhi, followed by Mumbai and Bangalore.
