Written by : TNM

The News Minute | January 3, 2015 | 9.40 AM ISTThe Yuva Morcha in Kerala has demanded that a thorough enquiry should be conducted into the manner in which staff nurses were selected in 2014.There were irregularities in the Public Service Commission (PSC) examination that was conducted in April 2014, Yuva Morcha President P. Sudhir has alleged, Manorama reported.Forty-five questions in the examination were from a guide published by a coaching academy in the state. The reason why the Yuva Morcha has asked for an enquiry is that the foreword of the guide was written by the Deputy Director of Nursing Education and also a large number of students who had studied in that coaching institute have secured top ranks in the rank list.It was also said that the candidates who had secured good ranks in the previous examination were not recruited. Of the 1350 candidates who were selected, very few have been recruited. The health minister V.S. Sivakumar and his associates are recruiting only those candidates who are paying them money, the Yuva Morcha further alleged. TweetFollow @thenewsminute
