Sunstroke claims two lives in Kerala

Two persons, Tracheril Subhash (56) and Vaaliparambil Raghu (52) died due to sunstroke on Friday in Alappuzha and Thrissur districts respectively. 



Subhash, a native of Kayamkulam, was found dead by his family members during his uncle’s funeral. His body was found lying under the sun with burn marks on his back and hands. Raghu’s body was found near his house, with severe burns all over his body. 

As reported by Manorama, more than 130 people have been killed in several parts of the country due to extreme heat wave conditions. 

According to the India Meteorological Department, the soaring temperatures are expected to continue for a few days.
