Kerala Opposition and veteran CPI (M) leader VS Achuthanandan will visit JNU campus and meet left student protestors on Thursday.

VS will spend around 30 minutes with the students in the JNU campus that has been witnessing one of the strongest protests by students in the recent times, after the arrest of JNU Sudents Union President Kanhaiya Kumar under sedition charges.

According to his personal staff, VS will reach the campus around 3.30 pm and will conduct a public discussion with the students.

Media reports say that VS’s visit is intended to catalyze the ongoing protests.
