Solar scam in news again: Petitoner claims Chandy's office endorsed Saritha

Just as the opposition was demanding his resignation over the 24-year-old palmolein ca,se, petitioner in the solar scam case Sajjad in his statement to the judicial enquiry committee on Monday has reportedly alleged that Biju Radhakrishnan the prime accused in the case had shown him a recommendation letter by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.According to media reports he has also claimed that he had contacted Chief Minister’s personal assistant Jikku Mon asking of Saritha Nair and her scheme was trustworthy and Jikku Mon had responded positively.It has also been reported that Sajjad has mentioned in his statement that I G Padmakumar had informed the petitioner that many VIPs were involved in the case and asked him to settle the issue
