Kerala’s Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (SNDP), seen predominantly as an Ezhava community organization, has declared that they are ready to join any political party who can give them power and positions in ruling government in future.

SNDP’s leader Tushar Vellappally, who is fast gaining popularity, told Asianet News that they can collaborate with any party whether it is CPI (M) or Sangh Parivar irrespective of their party ideologies.

“We can cooperate with whichever party gives protection to our interests, the party which will be able get power (win next elections) and which enables our leaders also to acquire positions. It can be LDF, UDF or BJP,” he said.
He also said that the reported clashes between SNDP and LDF were due to misunderstandings and there is always a possibility of SNDP- LDF collaboration.

“CPI(M) does not understand many things, it’s a misunderstanding.  Every decisions related to SNDP should be taken by SNDP itself. No one else has any right our organization, we are not a sub-section of any other political party,” he added.
