Dedication of the Gender Park by the department of Social Justice of Kerala government to the nation, state government's Digital Empowerment Campaign and "Kanivu" (Compassionate Kerala) are the other three projects to be launched by the President.

All the projects will be launched at a function at UL CyberPark premises at Kozhikode, which will be attended by Governor P Sathasivam and Chief Minister Oommen Chandy besides other dignitaries.

Gender Park, an autonomous institution, is the first-of-its-kind platform in the country to resolve gender inequity in development and address the gender issues, its officials said.

The Rs 270 crore UL CyberPark built on 25-acre land, is expected to provide direct employment to 4,500 persons in the first phase.

With an aim to bridge the gap among citizens, Kerala government will launch its ambitious Digital Empowerment Campaign during the function tomorrow, official sources said.
