Pinarayi Vijayan wishes Jayalalithaa speedy recovery

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday wished a speedy recovery to his Tamil Nadu counterpart J. Jayalalithaa, who is currently convalescing at a hospital in Chennai.

In a letter addressed to her, Vijayan wrote that people of Kerala were deeply sad to hear about her illness.

"I take this opportunity to wish you a very speedy recovery, so that you can resume your normal duties at the earliest," said Vijayan.

Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road in Chennai with fever and dehydration at around 11 pm on Thursday. Accompanied by her aide Sasikala, the Chief Minister was taken by a special convoy to the hospital.
