In pictures: Members of Cholanaykkar tribe visit city for the first time

A group of Cholanaykkar tribals, one of the most primitive tribes in Kerala, which still depends on hunting and gathering for their livelihood,on Thursday visited Kozhikode. 

Around 55 tribals from the group, that speaks in the Cholanaykka language, visited the city under a program organised by the Kerala Forest Department.

It was the first time these people came out of their hamlets to visit a city. They visited the Kozhikode beach and Planetarium with great enthusiasm.
