NSS shows Vellappally’s yatra the red card!

Written by : TNM Staff

A march for equality of Hindus (Sammatwa Munneta Yatra) led by Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan, has drawn some heavy criticism by the Nair Service Society (NSS), according to news reports.

In its latest issue of the Service –the NSS mouthpiece- the editorial has come down heavily on the present SNDP leadership, accusing it of trying “to protect their sectarian vested interests’ by joining hands with certain organisations.

This was being done in the name of protecting Hindu interests, which went against the Guru’s philosophy, the editorial said.

It also did not spare the various other organisations supposedly working for the Nair community saying that the NSS derived its strength from its strict adherence to its founding principles as well as its transparent style of functioning.

The celebration of the Chattambiswamy Samadhi Day instead of observing it, the hosting of the World Nair Conference and the concerted efforts to tarnish the image of the NSS through social media too, were not spared.
