Literary critic B. Hridayakumari passes away

She was 84.She was suffering from age related illness.A respected figure in the social milieu of the state, she was the former principal of the Government Women's College hereShe headed a committee constituted by the Kerala State Higher Education Council to suggest improvements and reforms to the choice-based credit-and-semester system.The funeral will take place here later in the day here.IANS
