Kerala woman allegedly killed, buried in the backyard by her husband in Germany

A Malayalee woman was murdered allegedly by her husband in Germany, according to the German police. The police found 34-year-old woman's body buried in the farm in their backyard on Friday. Her husband has been arrested by the police in connection with the murder.

According to reports, the woman is the daughter of natives of Angamaly in Ernakulam district, who migrated to Germany years ago. The incident came to light after news of the woman being missing began to appear on social media on April 13, her husband lodged a missing complaint with the police on May 3, claiming that the woman had left home all by herself.

The police found out that her friends and relatives had been trying to locate her through social media weeks before her husband claimed she left home, and grew suspicious of his movements.

The police took him into custody, where he later pleaded guilty.

The woman and the accused were childhood friends who got married a few years back in Angamaly and have an 8-month-old daughter.
