Kerala teenager dies after alleged brawl with pan masala seller in Delhi

A 14-year-old Keralite boy on Wednesday was killed following an alleged fight with a pan masala seller in Delhi.

According to an NDTV report, he was apparently taken to three different hospitals before being declared brought dead. 

‪An eyewitness said that a pan shop owner and his friends attacked the boy, Rajat Menon, while he was returning from his tuition classes.

‪Three other friends of the boy were also attacked in a park nearby where the incident occurred in Mayur Vihar Phase 3.

Rajat was a class 9 student at Salwan Public School in Mayur Vihar. ‪He was the son of Unnikrishnan, a native of Palakkad.

Doctors have said that there were no external injuries on Rajat's body. 

Police said they are waiting for the postmortem report.
