Written by : TNM Staff
Land holdings belonging to 40 Keralaites have been reportedly grabbed by land mafia in Bangalore using goonda gangs.
Manoramaonline reports that the mafia has threatened to kill the land owners if they refuse to handover the properties to them.

The grabbed land had been given by Karnataka government in 2011 to a few landless Keralaites in Hoskote near Bengaluru city.
The report says that though these people have all documents to prove their ownership in the lands, they were denied justice even by the police.

According to the report these lands price have increased tremendously and which has gotten the mafia interested in them. The mafia has reportedly started the attempt to ouster the settlers from the government-owned land and are trying to sell it using fake documents.
