Kerala gets its first Dolby Atmos mixing studio

Unnikrishnan, filmmaker and managing director, Aries Vismayas Max, said in a statement."Dolby Atmos creates a completely realistic sonic atmosphere that puts you into the experience by moving audio around and above the audience. We recently mixed Malayalam movie 'Cousins', in cinemas now," he added.Filmmakers use Dolby Atmos to place and move sounds anywhere in the movie theatre to make film audiences feel as if they are inside the movie and not merely watching it.Some of the films released using the technology include "Dhoom:3", "PK", "Kayal" and "Meaghamann".
