According to media reports, in a list of persons have suspected Islamic state links released by Central agencies, there is reportedly a couple from Kannur district of Kerala.

Media reports say that the couple had been living in Dubai until a year ago and went missing after that. The New IndianExpress reports that the couple had moved to Turkey in a May 2014 for visit and did not return.

The report says that the husband allegedly has a police case against him in Kannur and he went to Dubai in 2008.

The couple reportedly got married in 2013 and after their visit to Turkey they have contacted the family only on a few occasions over internet, but never revealed where they were.

The report also says that police suspect that the couple might have joined the IS by crossing the Turkey border into Syria.
However there are no confirmed evidences with the agencies to support this hypothesis.
