When the Kerala SSLC results were announced on Wednesday, a girl who excelled in all the subjects she appeared in, would have been overjoyed had she been alive. But that was not to be, as she took the drastic and unthinking step of committing suicide.

On March 21, Aksa, a 16-year-old native of Muvattupuzha killed herself, fearing that she would score less marks in the Kerala SSLC exams. However, when the results were announced on Wednesday, Aksa scored A+ in all the subjects.

According to a report by Mathrubhumi, Aksa secured A+ in Malayalam, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English.

She had set herself ablaze, as she was scared to give the social science paper.

Aksa is the daughter of Kalarikkakudi Kuriakose and Sibi.

She was studying at Nirmala Higher Secondary School, Muvattupuzha.
