Both the daughters of LDF leaders  lost in the Kerala civic polls  2015.

Former LDF Minister MV Raghavan's daughter MV Girija and Former Chief Minister EK Nayanar's daughter Usha Praveen lost to the opposing UDF candidates in the keenly contested local polls.
