The News Minute | May 27, 2014 | 3:54 PM IST Say football and a Keralite's heart flutters. Cheesy? Well, Kerala is perhaps the only state in the country where football madness surpasses the love the rest of the nation holds for cricket. And in true football crazy style, some game lovers in Kerala have already launched a video album - World Cup Song 2014 for this year's World Cup that is set to take place in Brazil from June 12. The video produced by the Kerala Football Training Centre, based out of Kozhikode has compiled visuals of the football matches that happen in random streets in Kerala and also the most striking visuals of World Cups for their new album. The song is no "Wakka Wakka," in fact it could hardly get any points for rhythm or melody. It has the distinct sound of the political parody songs that are popular in Kerala. But still, it is the effort of a group of ordinary people, who happen to be die-hard football lovers. One of the coach in the training centre, Prasad Haridas composed and directed the album. The organisers say that they aim to revive the football spirit of the state this season.
