Explosion in Thiruvananthapuram Vellarada village office, many injured

A fire broke out at the Vellarada Village office in Thiruvananthapuram injuring seven and gutting files in the office. According to initial reports, a man in a bike came to the village office. He entered the office wearing his helmet and said that he would teach the village officer a lesson. Reports say he kept a petrol bomb on the table and ran away.

One person is said to have been seriously injured in the fire.
