All India Youth Federation (AIYF), youth wing of Communist Party of India (CPI), local committee has been suspended by the party state leadership for putting up banners in support of RSS's Sree Krishna Jayanthi processions.

Beypore local committee of the party had displayed posters showing solidarity with RSS processions on Saturday. The youth wing also had lighted lamps in support of Sree Krishna Jayanti processions.

The banners had displayed the greetings from AIYF and Che Guevara arts and sports club, a local group supported by CPI.

But the AIYF state leadership told media that it was not party’s official decision to do so.

According to Manorama News AIYF state president G Krishnaprasad said that though party is not against religious belief, it is against the organisations, which use religious radicalism as a political propaganda.

While suspending the local committee the state leaders said that AIYF by no means should express solidarity to RSS as they are ideologically different.
