Arrest warrant issued against solar scam accused Saritha Nair

The solar commission on Thursday, issued an arrest warrant against Saritha S Nair, the prime accused in the infamous Solar scam.

According to reports, Justice G Sivarajan committee issued the warrant after Saritha failed to appear before the commission even after repeated warnings.

Reports say that Saritha did not appear before the commission four times and that the commission has directed her to appear before the commission before June 27, failing of which, the arrest will be carried out.

The commission had on Wednesday dismissed her plea seeking more time to furnish evidence in the case.
