'Anything to sell your magazines': Mamtha Mohandas slams local daily for publishing "fake" interview of her

Actor Mamtha Mohandas has come down heavily on Mangalam, a local daily, claiming that the media organization had published a fake interview of her on their online portal last week.

Tagging Mangalam in a latest Facebook post, the actor alleged that the ‘fake’ interview was a technique to sell their magazine.

In the post, along with which she attached the cover photo of the interview, Mamta wrote, “#mangalamonline Absolutely dramatic crap! And no interviews taken! Out of which all the 4 statements are wrong and misinterpreted. Anythin to sell your magazines huh!”

The interview published in Mangalam had claimed that Mamtha thought of dying during her cancer treatment and that her husband, who was her close friend, kept her away from him after marriage. It further stated that she would like to marry a villager who knows how to love and that cancer medicines available in India are fake.

The “My Boss” actor has denied all these statements.

Mamtha had surprised her  fans with grand re-entries into the film industry after her recovery from lymph node cancer. Even while she battled the disease, she had continued to act in Malayalam films.

The 29-year-old actor got her break in the Malayalam film industry with the movie Mayookham in 2005. She married Prajith Padnabhan in 2011 and got divorced in 2012.
