Another rape in Kerala: Teenager allegedly gangraped in Thiruvananthapuram

Just as Kerala was engulfed by protests following the rape and brutal murder of Jisha in Perumbavoor in Kerala, yet another incident of gang-rape has been reported.

According to police sources, a 19-year-old girl from Thiruvananthapuram was with her lover and was visiting the neighbouring district on Tuesday. While she was returning to Thiruvananthapuram, she was allegedly raped by her lover’s friends.

On Tuesday evening, she was found lying in an auto and locals took her to the hospital.

She is now admitted in the Thiruvananthapuram SAT Hospital.

As per the latest update, three people have been taken into custody. 

It is reported that her lover was an auto-driver.
