As the UDF government in Kerala sails into its fifth year, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah said that the Oommen Chandy government’s four-year period is shrouded in corruption.He was on Tuesday, addressing party cadres in Thiruvananthapuram, who have launched a day-night demonstration in front of the Government Secretariat from last evening.According to an Asianet News report, the BJP party supremo said that the party’s aim is to make Kerala a Congress-free state.Amit Shah stressed that a CPI M government should not come as a replacement to the "corrupt" Congress government and instead BJP should seize the chance.Shah further praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi by claiming that the opposition has not been able to allege any misappropriation against the Modi government, and said that the support Modi receives from other countries must be considered as an achievement of the people of the country.  His visit is in the backdrop of elections to local bodies scheduled by the end of this year, and State assembly elections early next year.
