Rumours of actress Samvrutha Sunil filing for divorce had kept sections of media busy for some days. But the actor has now come out to declare publicly that she was happily married to Akhil Jayaraj and had no plans to file for divorce.

 

In an interview to Vanitha magazine, she said that she and her family were shocked to hear when the rumours surfaced.

 

She revealed in the interview that even close relatives doubted whether the 'fake' news on her divorce was true.  

 

“My parents and my in-laws were fed up attending calls seeking the authenticity of the rumour,” she told Vanitha.

 

Earlier when the news became viral, the actor had rubbished it with a post on her Facebook profile. 

 

"To everyone who might be concerned about my marital status...I am happily married and leading a peaceful life by God's grace. I have a 5 month old baby who is keeping me very busy and I barely have the time to even post this message. Please ignore all future rumors as well," Samvrutha wrote on her Facebook wall on 26 July slamming news.
