Actress Mithra Kurian allegedly attacks Kerala RTC bus driver

Malayalam actress Mithra Kurian, along with a few men allegedly attacked a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus driver and a traffic control inspector on Sunday evening.

As per reports, Mithra alleged that the bus, which was going to Perumbavoor, grazed her vehicle and caused a scratch on her car. Mithra then followed the bus in her car. Two men accompanying her reportedly physically assaulted the driver A Ramdas and also traffic control inspector A A Vijayan, who tried to intervene.

There were also reports that Mithra verbally abused the driver.

Ramdas and Vijayan are admitted to a hospital in Perumbavoor. Police have confirmed that the incident occurred but did not disclose further details.

“We have got a complaint from the Kerala RTC staff. We will enquire about it and file a case. As of now, an FIR has not been filed,” a police officer from Perumbavoor station said.

There is another complaint against Mithra that she trespassed into the Kerala RTC depot, where private vehicles are not allowed.
