Actor Vijay visits family of fan who died in freak accident

The News Minute | October 28, 2014| 1.55 pm ISTTamil actor Vijay visited the house of 24 year old Unnikrishnan who lost his life recently in a freak accident while trying to do a “milk abhishekam” on a flex board on October 22nd. The actor was present as his fans handed over a token amount of Rs 3 lakhs, collected through conducting a screening of movie “Kathi” in Alappuzha, to the family. The actor released a press note on the very next day of the accident offering his condolences. In the note he asked his fans to take adequate safety and security measure and avoid these incidents. “Your respect for yourself is a sign of your respect for me” the note says.
