The News Minute | August 22, 2014 | 06:10 pm ISTForty percent of police officers in Kerala are lazy. We are not saying this, but these are the words of ADGP (jail), TP Senkumar. Speaking at a Police Officers Association event in Kerala, Senkumar opined that many police officers are lazy and avoid work. He also proposed a solution saying those who avoid work should be thrown out of the police service. Sen also reserved some criticisms for the government and said that if only the government gave ten percent of the facilities that are extended to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), then the state police force too can solve tough cases.
