Owaisi brothers led All-India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has opened an office in Mysuru district and has already roped in 4,500 members to its party. The party would also carry out membership drives and is currently focusing on the upcoming BBMP elections.  2. Bengaluru police have denied media reports that two local boys had died fighting for ISIS. They further said that they are keeping a strict watch on those who have travelled to the middle east from the city, and has not found any youth who has joined ISIS from the city.  3. According a Karnataka State Pollution Control Board report, the pollution levels in Bengaluru is 200 percent higher than national quality standards. Apart from vehicles, dust from potholes too contribute to elevated levels of air pollution.  4. Karnataka Chief Minister has reportedly said that the much awaited Cabinet reshuffle will take place after BBMP elections which is expected to take place by August 5 according to a Supreme Court order. 5. Police says that due to the poor quality of CCTV cameras in public spaces, many traffic violations, crimes and accidents are going unsolved. The Hindu's Imran Gowhar reports.
