 1. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) decided to renew the licenses of hoardings despite its council passing a resolution to ban hoardings in the city. The decision was taken after BBMP suffered a loss of Rs. 25 crore as renewals were not done last year.2.  Fourty-two villages in Maharashtra have written a letter to their Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis seeking a no-objection certificate to merge with Karnataka as they have been reeling under severe water crisis for decades.
